Same-Day Flower Delivery in El Dorado Hills: How It Actually Works
What 'same-day' actually means at our El Dorado Hills studio — cutoffs, routing, hospital drops, and how to order in time.

Same-day flower delivery is the most-asked question through our shop. Yes, we do it. The details — the cutoff time, the route windows, what can derail a same-day order — are worth knowing before you place one. This post covers how it actually works at our El Dorado Hills studio.
What 'same-day' actually means
An arrangement composed and hand-delivered to the recipient address on the same calendar day you order. Tuesday through Saturday. The studio is dark Sunday and Monday — those days don't compose. So Saturday is the latest day you can order for in-week delivery; orders placed Sunday or Monday before noon go out Tuesday morning.
Same-day requires three things: the stems for what you want, time on the route, and capacity at the studio. Most of the year all three line up. Holiday weekends — Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas — they tighten and we recommend ordering at least 48 hours ahead.
The cutoff
Same-day cutoff is 12:00pm Pacific. Orders by 11 a.m. land in the morning route window; orders by 12:00pm land in the late-afternoon window. Anything later moves to next-day.
Our 15-city service area
We deliver same-day Tuesday through Saturday across these cities — see each linked page for the routing notes specific to that city:
- El Dorado Hills — same studio, fastest route, most flexibility
- Cameron Park — 10 minutes east
- Folsom — 20 minutes west
- Granite Bay — 30 minutes northwest
- Roseville — split into two route loops; the largest city by population
- Rocklin — 40 minutes north
- Auburn — farthest north on the route
- Loomis, Newcastle — small-town routes between Roseville and Auburn
- Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Rancho Cordova — southern Sacramento County loop
- Placerville, Camino — east on Highway 50, Apple Hill country
- Plymouth — Amador County, edge of our range; usually next-day
Outside this footprint, pickup at Town Center, El Dorado Hills is always free and available the same day for orders placed by 1 p.m.
Hospital and assisted-living drops
Common destinations: Sutter Roseville, Kaiser Roseville, Mercy San Juan in Citrus Heights, plus several assisted-living facilities along Greenback Lane. For hospital drops, leave the patient name and room number in the order notes — we coordinate the drop-off with the front desk and don't try to hand-deliver to the room directly (most floors don't allow it).
What can affect same-day capacity
- Holiday weekends — Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas. Book ahead. Same-day capacity narrows or disappears on these dates.
- Wedding install days — most weeks have one full-day wedding install (typically Saturday). Saturday same-day deliveries are still possible but the cutoff often moves to 11 a.m.
- Stock days — Tuesday is the freshest cooler after Monday sourcing. Saturday is the closer-to-end-of-week mix. Available palette tracks this.
How to order same-day
- Browse the shop and pick a size — Petite, Signature, or Luxe.
- On the product page, choose Delivery and enter the recipient ZIP. Or choose Pickup and pick a same-day time at Town Center.
- Pick the Occasion. Leave a palette note in the order notes if you have one.
- Continue to checkout. Place the order before 12:00pm for same-day arrival.
If you miss the cutoff
Two backup options: order for next-day delivery (still hand-tied that morning), or order for pickup at Town Center, El Dorado Hills. Pickup is available the same day as long as the order is in by 1 p.m., and you can drive to Town Center yourself and hand-deliver.
