Same-Day Flower Delivery in Folsom and Roseville: How It Works

How our same-day delivery actually works in Folsom and Roseville — cutoffs, route windows, and how to order in time.

Same-day flower delivery in Folsom and Roseville is one of the most-asked questions through our shop. Both cities are inside our 15-city service area and both get a daily delivery route from the studio. This post covers exactly how same-day works, what cutoffs you need to hit, and what to do if you miss them.

What "same-day" actually means

When we say same-day, we mean: an arrangement composed and delivered to your address on the same calendar day you ordered. Tuesday through Saturday. The studio is dark Sunday and Monday — we don't compose those days, so Saturday is the latest day you can order for in-week delivery.

Same-day requires that we have the stems, the time, and the route capacity that day. Most of the year all three are available; on heavy-demand weekends (Mother's Day, Valentine's Day), they tighten and we recommend ordering at least 48 hours ahead.

The cutoff

Place same-day orders by 11 a.m. for next-up delivery, by 12:00pm for end-of-day delivery. The earlier the order, the more flexibility we have on the palette and the route.

After 12:00pm, orders move to next-day. If you're ordering at 4 p.m. on a Friday, the arrangement gets composed and delivered Saturday morning.

How the Folsom route runs

Folsom is a twenty-minute drive from the studio. We typically have two delivery windows on weekdays: a morning window (10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) covering the historic district, the homes around Empire Ranch and Briggs Ranch, and the corporate parks along East Bidwell, and an afternoon window (2 p.m. – 4 p.m.) covering Lake Natoma Shores, the older streets near Folsom Boulevard, and the newer developments on the east side of the lake.

If your delivery is time-sensitive (a birthday party at 7 p.m., for example), order in the morning and we can usually align the delivery to land in the early afternoon window. For more on what we deliver to Folsom, see our Folsom delivery page.

How the Roseville route runs

Roseville is a thirty-five-minute drive and is the largest city by population in our service area, so the route splits into two distinct loops. Westpark, Fiddyment Farm, and the Pleasant Grove neighborhoods get a late-morning sweep; East Roseville Parkway, Diamond Creek, and the area near Sutter and Kaiser hospitals get an early-afternoon sweep.

Hospital deliveries to Sutter Roseville and Kaiser Roseville are common — for those, leave the patient name and room number in the order notes and we'll coordinate the drop-off with the front desk. For more on what we deliver to Roseville, see our Roseville delivery page.

What can affect same-day capacity

  • Holiday weekends. Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas — book ahead. Same-day capacity narrows or disappears.
  • Wedding install days. Most weeks have one full-day wedding install (typically Saturday). Saturday same-day deliveries to Folsom and Roseville are still available but cutoffs are usually 11 a.m. instead of 12:00pm
  • Stock days. Tuesday is when our cooler is freshest after Monday sourcing; Saturday is when we're closer to the cooler's end-of-week mix. The available palette tracks this.

How to order in time

  1. Browse the shop and pick a size — Petite, Signature, or Luxe.
  2. Enter the recipient's ZIP at checkout. Folsom (95630, 95763) and Roseville (95661, 95678, 95747) are both in our delivery footprint.
  3. Choose the same calendar day for delivery (or pickup at Town Center, El Dorado Hills) at the date selection step.
  4. Leave a note for any palette preference, or any address access notes (gate code, second floor, leave on porch, etc.).
  5. Order before 12:00pm for end-of-day delivery; before 11 a.m. for the early window.

If you miss the cutoff

Two backup options: order for next-day delivery (still hand-tied that morning), or order for pickup at Town Center, El Dorado Hills. Pickup is available the same day as long as the order is in by 1 p.m., and you can drive to Town Center yourself and hand-deliver.

If you're ordering for someone else and they're closer to El Dorado Hills than to you, pickup with a hand-delivery from a friend can sometimes solve a same-day timing problem better than waiting for our route. Up to you.
