Mother's Day Flowers in El Dorado Hills: A Local Florist's 2026 Guide
How to order Mother's Day flowers from a real local studio — pickup at Town Center, what's in season, and 15% off with MOM2026.

Mother's Day 2026 falls on Sunday, May 10. If you're shopping for flowers in El Dorado Hills — or anywhere in our 15-city local service area — this is a short, honest guide to what we recommend, when to order, and what you'll actually get when the doorbell rings.
We're May Flowers Co, a small floral studio based in El Dorado Hills. We compose every arrangement the morning it leaves the studio, source from Northern California growers wherever the season allows, and keep our orders manageable enough that we can talk through palette and care if you ask. Mother's Day is the busiest single weekend on our calendar, so this guide covers a few of the questions we get most.
Why order locally for Mother's Day
Mother's Day is also the busiest weekend in the year for the wire-service florists — 1-800-Flowers, Teleflora, FTD. Those services route the order to the closest affiliate florist they've signed up, who fulfills it from a generic stock list against a price the wire service has set. The economics tend to push toward the cheapest possible arrangement that fills the listed dimensions, with the rest skimmed off in service fees.
Local studios — including ours — work directly. The arrangement you order is the arrangement we build. Stems are sourced from our own growers, the palette is composed for the day, and there's no third party clipping a margin between you and the flowers. For the same out-the-door price, you almost always get more, fresher, and better-built flowers.
What we recommend ordering
Our three studio sizes — Petite ($45), Signature ($75), and Luxe ($125) — all work well for Mother's Day, but we have a slight preference depending on the gift context.
- Petite — $45. A compact, focal arrangement that sits well on a nightstand, kitchen island, or office desk. Right for a sister, a friend's mother, or as a second arrangement to pair with a larger one going to mom directly.
- Signature — $75. Our most-requested Mother's Day size. Eight to twelve stems across three textures, sized for a dining table or entry table. The default we'd recommend if you're choosing one to send to mom.
- Luxe — $125. A larger sculptural piece on a premium vessel — for a Mother's Day at home with the family, a gift that doubles as the centerpiece for the dinner.
Pickup vs. delivery
Two ways to receive an arrangement: pickup at our studio's pickup location at Town Center, El Dorado Hills (always free), or hand-delivered by us across our 15-city service area (also free, no fee).
Pickup is right for last-minute orders, for hand-delivering the arrangement yourself, or for combining with a Mother's Day brunch already happening locally. Delivery is right when mom is at home, in the office, or at a friend's place inside our service area, and you want the flowers to arrive without you handling them. Both options route through the same checkout — choose your preference at the date selection step.
When to order
- Order early in the week. Placing your order by mid-week guarantees Mother's Day delivery on Saturday (most preferred) or Sunday. Earlier orders get the best palette options because we're not yet pulling against day-of stock.
- Saturday before Mother's Day. Pickup at Town Center is available all day Saturday for orders placed by noon. Delivery on Saturday is also still possible but slots fill quickly.
- Mother's Day (Sunday). Same-day Sunday pickup may be possible for early orders, but stock is what's left from Saturday. Best to plan ahead.
What's in season for Mother's Day
Mother's Day weekend is one of the better moments in the Northern California flower calendar. Spring is fully open by then — most of our growers are cutting peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, sweet peas, snapdragons, and the late tulips. The cooler usually has imported lilies, lisianthus, and silver-backed eucalyptus to round things out.
If you have a palette in mind, leave a note at checkout. The most-requested Mother's Day palettes we see are soft pink and cream, warm peach and copper, all white with green, and full garden (everything mixed). We're happy to compose to any of these.
Same-day if you're in Folsom or Roseville
Most of our Mother's Day same-day delivery slots are absorbed by the two largest cities in our footprint — Folsom and Roseville. We have a separate guide on how same-day timing works specifically for those two cities; if you're cutting the order close, read how same-day delivery works in Folsom and Roseville first.
If you're outside our delivery area
We deliver to 15 cities across the Sacramento and Sierra foothill region — see the full list. If your mom is outside that footprint, two options: pick up the arrangement yourself at Town Center, El Dorado Hills, and drive it to her, or send an inquiry and we'll see if a one-off delivery makes sense for the specific address.
